"Communist Party of Canada" is shown on the bottom left, and on the bottom right
the same verbiage in French. The hoist is on the left side of this flag. This
group appears to be different from the "Communist Party of Canada
(Marxist-Leninist)" - although there may be overlapping members.

An earlier flag showed a conjoined wheat head and cog wheel in yellow and blue on a red maple leaf on a white disk on a red field.
